Jim and I went up north courtesy of Bluegreen Resorts.... I often forget how beautiful upper Michigan is, until I arrive there and am reminded of the breath taking scenery. We drove up to the most north-western section of the lower peninsula, which is Petoskey. We stayed at the famous old Victorian hotel called Stafford Perry Hotel, and spent our days shopping at the quaint shops on Main Street, and hit the casino at night and never missed the million dollar sunsets that took place here. We also had some time to visit very wealthy Harbor Springs and did a quick drive-by tour of the beautiful houses along the bay. On our way home, we drove up to Mackinac City and took the ferry across Mackinac Island, where we took a horse carriage tour of the entire island. After the tour, we briefly shopped in the downtown area of Mackinac island and sampled the famous fudge produced here. After leaving the island by ferry, with only a pound of fudge; we proceeded to drive toward home. The next stop will be in Frankenmuth to receive my free birthday dinner offered at Zehnders. After dinner, we walked off some calories before the drive home to see our pretty girl, Asia.

Wow I am so jealous. We got to go to Petosky too, but you got to go to Mackinac Island and Zehnders. I LOVE Mackinac Island. That's where I want to marry and die. That place is the BEST.
